Call for InstructorsFrench River is now in the process of scheduling Graduate Courses for the Summer 2026 and Fall 2026 semesters. If you are interested in teaching a 36-hour graduate course, please contact Ricci Hall at 508-987-0219, Ext. 101 or email rhall@frec.org. We are especially in need of instructors to teach courses in high school English, Math, Science, Foreign Language and Social Studies.

Grades are now accessible online for both Worcester and Framingham State Universities.
Grade reports are no longer sent automatically to you. You must access grades online from the Worcester State or Framingham State Univertiies websites.
Tuition:
1 credit course (22.5 PDPs): member district staff—$425, non-member district staff—$450;
2 credit course (45 PDPs) member district staff—$650, non-member district staff—$775;
3 credit course (67.5 PDPs) member district staff—$900, non-member district staff—$1,000.
(Note: Tuition for 3 Credit out-of-district-courses is $1,000 for member and non-member district staff).
Payment:French River accepts Credit Card or checks for tuition payment.
Text/Material Fees: All materials fees are payable to the instructor at the first class. Textbooks should be purchased by the first class session.

Graduate CoursesAll courses are three credits unless otherwise stated. 3 college credits equal 67.5 PDPs. The Center, in partnership with the offices of Continuing Education at Framingham and Worcester State Universities, offers elective coursesdesigned for students with baccalaureate degrees and appropriate teaching credentials. These courses are graduate level,developed primarily for professional advancement. They are not part of any degree program. Seek approval of appropriate district or college officials before enrolling in these courses to satisfy any degree, state credential, or local school district requirement.
Withdrawal Policy:Full refund prior to first class; 80% after first class; no refund thereafter. This policy is consistent with Worcester and Framingham State universities. Withdrawals must be in writing, mailed, emailed or faxed to French River.
Attendance:
100% attendance is expected. Participants cannot receive a grade of A if absent for 6 hours. Participants must consult with instructors to make up for any loss of time in class.Click Course Registration (button above).
PDP Courses
FREC offers a plethora of online, asynchronous courses granting PDPs including bundles for an entire suite of PDPs for re-licensure.
